We are excited to announce that Scite.AI, an AI-powered citation database, is now available at the SUSS Library! 

The database enables you to search, identify and analyse papers to strengthen your research process and help you assess the impact and reliability of a research study. 

Scite.AI goes beyond simple citation counts. 

It classifies the citations through its unique cite analysis tool “Smart Citations” by categorising them into the following: 

• Supporting - when other papers confirm the cited work
• Contrasting - when other papers challenge or dispute the cited work
• Mentioning - when the cited work is referenced only

This means you don’t just see how often a study is cited. Instead, you understand why it is cited and the context behind it.

To enhance the research experience, Scite.AI is integrated with an AI Research Assistant tool*. This feature allows you to ask questions and receive conversational responses grounded in the sources available in the database so that you can explore topics, generate insights, and discover relevant studies with greater ease. Refer to Scite's Tutorials for help.
