BrowZine & LibKey Nomad: A How-To Guide

Use BrowZine to easily find, read, and monitor thousands of scholarly journals from SUSS library.

Configuring and Using BrowZine (Mobile App)

If you're using the app:

After you have selected "Singapore University of Social Sciences",
you will be lead to a page with a list of topics.

You can browse the magazines from the list of topics, or find a specific title.

For example, if we were to look at some Early Childhood Education Journals, we would be led to this page with a list of available journals:

If we tapped on Early Childhood Research Quarterly journal,
we would be brought to this page.

On this page, you can

  • view past issues,
  • look at articles from the current issues,
  • view related journals.

The top right corner icon would also allow you to

  • save this journal for future reference.

Saved journals would appear under "My Bookshelf"
(icons on the bottom when you leave this page).

Say we're interested in the first article.

Tapping on it would bring us to the PDF page.

By clicking on the "Share" icon on the top right corner, you can choose to:

  • email the article,
  • save the article,
  • open it as a PDF on your Mobile Web browser,
  • export this to citation management software
    (e.g Mendeley and Endnote).

Saved journals and articles can be found in "My Bookshelf" and "My Articles" respectively.

These icons are found on the bottom of your screen.

You may have to create an account on BrowZine should you like to save journals and articles on your Mobile App; this is not necessary on the desktop version.
